Eloy Morin Aguirre, 36, of Williston, FL, was arrested by the Williston Police Department, June 9, charged with battery, and false imprisonment of an adult ($20,000 bond).

Duncan Anderson, 33, of Williston, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, June 7, charged with failing to stop or remain at a crash involving serious bodily injury, leaving the scene of a crash involving damage to property, and driving while license suspended, second offense (no bond).

Ashley Denice Bean, 33, of Bronson, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, June 10, charged with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs ($10,000 bond).

Clints Bowers, 39, of Trenton, FL, was arrested by an unspecified agency, June 10, charged with disorderly intoxication in a public place causing a disturbance ($2,000 bond). He was also arrested on an out of county warrant (no bond).
 
James Edward Brehm, 56, of Chiefland, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, June 5, charged with battery ($10,000 bond).

Evelyn Anne Brum, 42, of Morriston, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, June 10, charged with two counts of failure to appear in court ($20,000  bond).

Javier Campos Tapia, 35, of Inglis, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, June 8, on an out of county warrant (no bond). 

Sheldon Osborne Carey, 43, of Miami, FL, was arrested by an unspecified agency, June 8, to be held at the Levy County Detention Bureau for another agency (no bond).

UPDATE:  William Edward Coggins, 51, of Inglis, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, June 4, charged with possession of a controlled substance without a prescription ($5,000 bond), possession of marijuana less than 20 grams ($2,500 bond), and tampering with physical evidence (his bond was listed as nolle prosequi - which means that either he will not be prosecuted, or the charge will be dismissed). At 11:11 pm, a deputy observed Mr. Coggins riding a bicycle in the area of E. Cason Blvd. and Lori St. in Inglis, with no operational tail light on the rear of the bicycle. The deputy reported that he observed Coggins throwing something onto the ground, just before the traffic stop, that Coggins denied belonged to him - 2.8 grams of methamphetamine and 1.3 grams of marijuana. He was also issued a citation for the tail light violation.

UPDATE:  Kitty Dale Collins, 44, of Inglis, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, June 10, charged with obstructing or resisting an officer without violence ($5,000 bond), trafficking in 14 or more grams of methamphetamine ($100,000 bond), and tampering with physical evidence (no bond). Shortly before 1:00 pm, a deputy on patrol in Inglis spotted a vehicle being driven by a person known as an habitual traffic offender. The deputy attempted to conduct a traffic stop on the vehicle, but instead of stopping, the driver accelerated the vehicle, turned into a private residential property, abruptly stopped, and the driver and the passenger both exited the vehicle and ran from the vehicle, with the deputy in  pursuit (see a brief video of the pursuit here: https://levyso.com/fleeing-suspect-apprehended-with-trafficking-amount-of-meth/). Collins, the passenger, was apprehended. The deputy found a discarded black zippered bag that contained 84.5 grams of methamphetamine, a trafficking amount of the drug, and if convicted, Collins could receive a seven-year minimum prison sentence. At the time of the incident, deputies were still searching for the driver, who will face several felony charges when apprehended.

Charla Donyahl Duncan, 27, of Crystal River, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, June 5, charged with probation violation (no bond).

UPDATE:  Carrie Joy Esiel, 52, of Inglis, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, June 10, charged with trafficking in 14 or more grams of methamphetamine ($50,000 bond). About 8:40 pm, deputies on patrol in Inglis observed a Kia sport utility vehicle (SUV) being operated without headlights. Two deputies conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle, and during the traffic stop, both deputies smelled the odor of recently burned marijuana coming from inside the vehicle. During a search of the vehicle, deputies located a pill bottle inside the driver’s door panel that contained 1.7 grams of marijuana and one oxycodone pill, and inside the center console, 28 grams of methamphetamine. The report stated that Esiel had seen her passenger walking with groceries and had offered him a ride; he was released and not charged.

Frederick Shawn Gatlin, 52, of Williston, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, June 5, charged with two counts of contempt of court by violating an injunction for protection against domestic violence ($200,000 bond).

Hannah Jane Gordon, 34, of Cedar Key, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, June 6, charged with probation violation (no bond).

Arthur Ray Gunnels, 30, of Bryan, TX, was arrested by an unspecified agency, June 5, charged with driving with a driver's license expired for longer than six months ($500 bond).

Michael Harvey, 53, of Williston, FL, was arrested by the Marion County (Florida) Sheriff's Office, May 5, 2023, and booked into the Levy County Detention Bureau, June 5, 2023, charged with three counts of probation violation (no bond).

Johnny Steven Hemby, III, 30, of Cedar Key, FL, was arrested by the Cedar Key Police Department, June 8, charged with grand theft of a motor vehicle ($25,000 bond) and petit theft from a merchant, second offense (no bond).

Lendel Lanier, 52, of Chiefland, FL, was arrested by an unspecified agency, June 8, to be held at the Levy County Detention Bureau for court (no bond).

Michael Lecorn, 41, of Ocala, FL, was arrested by the Marion County (Florida) Sheriff's Office, June 2,  and booked into the Levy County Detention Bureau, June 5, charged with failure to appear in court ($2,500 bond).

Robert Ray Mann, II, of Chiefland, FL, was arrested by the Marion County (Florida) Sheriff's Office, June 11, charged with withholding support of child, children or spouse ($1,770 cash-only bond).

Todd Grayson Myers, 54, of Chiefland, FL, was arrested by the Chiefland (Florida) Police Department, June 6, charged with trafficking in 4 gm to 30 kg of opium or an opium derivative, sale of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana less than 20 grams, possession of marijuana more than 20 grams, sale of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, and possession of drug equipment (no bond). He was also charged with possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, and possession of drug equipment ($30,000 bond).

Jimmy Brian Nagal, 73, of Cedar Key, FL, was arrested by the Florida Highway Patrol, June 6, charged with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, and driving under the influence with damage property, with both bonds set at release on his own recognizance.

Pedro Antonio Perez, 29, of Williston, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, June 8, charged with probation violation (no bond).

Travis Aaron Rains, 38, of Cedar Key, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, June 5, charged with driving while license suspended, a repeat offense ($5,000 bond).

UPDATE:  Darin Dee Ridgeway, 53, of Inglis, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, June 7, charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill ($25,000 bond). Ridgeway is accused of going to a neighbor's home, shouting profanities to a neighbor, accusing the neighbor of cooking methamphetamine and allegedly threatening the neighbor and the neighbor's dog while bransishing a black handgun. Deputies went to Ridgeway's residence, and he denied the allegations. However, deputies located a black Glock 19 handgun, loaded with eight 9 mm rounds in a cartridge, but none in the chamber. The handgun was retrieved for safety, the report stated, and Ridgeway was placed under arrest.

Charles Monroe Smith, 66, of Chiefland, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, June 10, charged with failure to appear in court ($500 bond).

Lucas Stoops, 34, of Cedar Key, FL, was arrested by a probation officer, June 7, charged with probation violation (no bond).

Cody Martin Thomas, 20, of Bronson, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, June 6, charged with second degree petit theft, first offense, with his bond set at release on his own recognizance.

UPDATE:  Jay Thomas Working, 31, of Old Town, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, June  9, charged with fleeing from a law enforcement with disregard as to the safety of persons or property, driving while license suspended, second offense; possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, and possession of drug equipment ($102,500 bond). The arrest was the result of an attempted traffic stop in Fanning Springs, FL, due to Working, the driver, not wearing a seatbelt. Working initially pulled over into a residential driveway, but he drove away as the deputy approached his vehicle. During a five-minute pursuit - that ended with Working's vehicle crashing at kendogs Restaurant, located at 16041 U.S. Highway 19, Working made numeous turns, drove the wrong way on U.S. Highway 19, and accelerated to speeds over 100 mph. Working, who has a history of fleeing from law enforcement, was found to be in possession of methamphetamine. He was transported to a local hospital where he was evaluated, then released into the custody of law enforcement.
