UPDATED:  Briana Crowder, 28, of Inglis, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, Feb. 23, charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill ($50,000 bond).
About 8:05 pm, deputies arrived at a SE 194th St., Inglis residence in response to a complaint of a verbal disurbance that had occurred, earlier in the evening, at a SE Butler Rd., Inglis residence.
One of the victims told deputies that he and a female victim and two witnesses had gone to the SE Butler Rd. residence, where he had previously lived, to see if mail he was expecting had arrived.
He said that he exited the vehicle to speak with Crowder, who came out of the house holding a knife in one hand and a small hatchet in the other hand, and he was fearful that Crowder would harm him, so he backed up to the car where the other three people were waiting. He said that Crowder threatened him and a woman, and he began filming Crowder with his phone.
The female victim and the other two witnesses corroborated the male victim's account of the incident, and they all said they were concerned and fearful due to Crowder's behavior.
The arrest report stated that deputies viewed the video, and watched Crowder gesturing with the weapons, changing them back and forth between hands, while shouting and using profanities.
Ms. Crowder, who was still wearing the clothing she'd worn in the video, according to the report, told deputies that she'd exited her house with a knife because she'd heard that the male victim had told others that he was going to get a gun and kill her. However, a deputy reported that Crowder did not appear to be afraid of the others, that in the video, she could be heard saying to them, "Come on, Come here."
