Two arrested on charges related to several Williston shootings; LCSO asking for public's help

Williston. Florida - Two Williston residents have been arrested on charges related to shooting incidents occurred in the Williston area on September 24, October 12 and December 3, 2022. The suspects are Jacques Days, 30, who was arrested on December 7, 2022, and Larron Jadawn Ross, 22, who was arrested on February 2, 2023.
On September 24, 2022, the Levy County Sheriff’s Office responded to an area near the former location of Williston Middle School (20550 NE 42nd Place in Williston) due to a report of a shooting.
Officials learned that several people had exited their vehicles and shot at one other. One suspect had fled the scene, and another person, who had remained on scene, alleged that he'd acted in self-defense. This person was unable to identify the other people who were involved in the incident.
On October 12, 2022, the Levy County Sheriff’s Office responded to the intersection of NE 212th Court and NE 37th Place in Williston, due to a report of another shooting.
Law enforcement personnel arrived on scene to find a 21 year-old male who had been shot in the back with a 0.223 caliber rifle. Officials learned that a group of men in a passenger car had exchanged gunfire with a person who lived in the area. The shooting victim was uncooperative with investigators. However, detectives believe that he was involved in the initial altercation that had occurred on September 24, 2022.
Detectives learned that both shooting incidents had stemmed from a gambling debt. Detectives identified the individuals involved in this feud as Larron Ross and Jacques Days.
On December 3, 2022, the Levy County Sheriff’s Office responded to yet another shooting, this time at the Toad Stool Bar, located at 21080 NE 35th Street, east of Williston. Detectives learned that Jacques Days and Larron Ross had exchanged gunfire in the bar's parking lot. All parties involved in the alercation had fled from the parking lot prior to the arrival of law enforcement officers. Detectives obtained arrest warrants for Days and Ross, charging them both with discharging a firearm from a vehicle and discharging a firearm in a public place.
On December 7, 2022 Jacques Days was arrested in the parking lot of the Levy County Court House on the warrant. He was booked into the Levy County Detention Bureau, charged with discharging a firearm from a vehicle and discharging a firearm in a public place ($85,000 bond). He was also charged with probation violation (no bond).
On February 1, 2023, Larron Jadawn Ross was located at an address in Gainesville, Florida by the Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force, assisted by the Alachua County Sheriff’s Office and the Levy County Sheriff’s Office. He was arrested on the warrant, and booked into the Levy County Detention Bureau on February 2, 2023, charged with discharging a firearm from a vehicle and discharging a firearm in a public place, with his bond set at $85,000. Ross's bond was paid on the same date, and he was released from custody.
Although Days and Ross have been arrested, this investigation is ongoing, as detectives know that other individuals were involved in these shooting incidents, and detectives are aware of other related criminal activity within the Williston community. Detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in solving these crimes.
