Two Chiefland, Florida residents were arrested by the Levy County Drug Task Force, Nov. 1, when a search warrant was served at their residence, a known drug house, located at 10091 NW 40th Ave. in Chiefland, FL. Deputies seized 98 grams of powdered and crack cocaine, 84 grams of marijuana, $63,871 in cash, and four firearms - one that had been reported stolen from Chiefland and another that had been reported stolen from Tampa, FL.
        Thomas Barr, 47, of Chiefland, FL, was charged with possession of a weapon or ammunition by a convicted Florida felon, possession or sale of an altered firearm, grand theft of a firearm, possession of cocaine with intent to sell or deliver, possession of marijuana with intent to sell or deliver, keeping a shop, residence or vehicle, etc. for the sale of dangeious drugs, first offense; and possession of drug equipment ($376,000 bond). He was also charged with a second offense of possession of a weapon or ammunition by a convicted Florida felon (release on his own recognizance bond)
        Christopher McQuay, 39, was charged with two counts of possession of a weapon or ammunition by a convicted Florida felon, grand theft of a firearm, possession of cocaine, keepiing a residence, shop or vehicle, etc. for the sale of drugs, a repeat offense; trafficking in 28 grams or more but less than 150 kilgrams of cocaine or a cocaine mixture, and possession of drug equipment ($356,000 bond). He was also charged with a third offense of possession of a weapon or ammunition by a convicted Florida felon (release on his own recognizance bond).

Debra Lynn Damron, 67, of Lakeland, FL, was arrested by the Florida Highway Patrol, Nov. 2, charged with
driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs ($5,000 bond).

Rickey Norval Gainey, 60, of Old Town, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, Nov. 2, charged with driving under the influence (DUI) of alcohol or drugs, and refusing to submit to DUI testing after a driver's license suspension ($10,000 bond).

Denise Garcia, 39, of Chiefland, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, Nov. 3, on an out-of-county warrant (no bond).

Angela Paulk Grimes, 39, of Cross City, FL, was arrested by an unspecified agency, Sept. 27, 2022, and booked into the Levy County Detention Bureau, Nov. 2, 2022, charged with probation violation (no bond).
 
Kyle Dylan Guthrie, 30, of Bronson, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, Oct. 31, charged with theft from a merchant, second offense ($1,000 bond).

Michael Lee Hannigan, 39, of Chiefland, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, Nov. 3, charged with disorderly intoxication in a public place causing a disturbance ($5,000 bond).

Manuel Herrera-Santos, 38, of Lake Charles, LA, was arrested by the Florida Highway Patrol, Nov. 5, charged with operating a motor vehicle without a valid license ($2,000 bond).

Shalyon Ann Jackson, 31, of Bronson, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, Oct. 31, charged with simple assault by threat to do violence (release on her own recognizance bond).

Bryan Kieth Johnstone, 60, of Hudson, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, Oct. 31, charged with disorderly intoxication in a public place causing a disturbance ($5,000 bond).

Michael Alfred Newsome, 52, of Trenton, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, Nov. 4, charged with battery ($25,000 bond).

Linwood Dewey Nichols, 54, of Oviedo, FL, was arrested by the Chiefland (Florida) Police Department, Nov. 6, charged with driving with a suspended or revoked driver's license ($20,000 bond).

Aimee Lynette Perkins, 23, of Chiefland, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, Nov. 5, charged with lewd or lascivious behavior toward a victim between the ages of 12 to 16 ($10,000 bond).

Shawn Tulsie Persaud, 27, of Orlando, FL, was arrested by the Dixie County (Florida) Sheriff's Office, Oct. 31, charged with fleeing from or eluding a law enforcement officer at a high rate of speed, driving with a suspended or revoked driver's license, and false imprisonment of an adult ($101,000 bond).

Joshua Pippin, 42, of Cedar Key, FL, was arrested by a probation officer, Nov. 1, charged with probation violation (no bond).

UPDATED:  James Raymond Rowe, 36, of Inglis, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, Nov. 6, charged with resisting or obstructing an officer without violence, disturbing the peace, possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, possession of drug equipment, and introducing contraband into a detention facility ($175,000 bond).
        The arrest report stated, around 11:30 pm, that a deputy observed Mr. Rowe riding a bicycle, without front or rear lights, traveling south on Michigan Dr. in Inglis, and a traffic stop was conducted at the intersection of Highway 40 West and N. Hawthorne Dr. 
        Mr. Rowe was "very agitated," according to the report, and "continued to raise his voice," yelling insults at the deputy, and also yelling at passing vehicles while pointing at the deputy. The report stated that Rowe was so loud that residents of a nearby home exited their residence to see what was going on. 
        The deputy reported that Rowe was uncoopoerative and refused to comply with his commands, so he placed him into hand restraints and into the rear of the patrol vehicle, while Rowe actively resisted him. While deputies were attempting to contact the nearby residents where Rowe wanted deputies to leave his bicucle, Rowe kicked the inside of the patrol vehicle hard enough it could be heard across Highway 40 West, where deputies were attempting to make arrangements for the storage of the bicycle.
        Enroute to the detention facility, Rowe continued kicking and yelling insults, the report stated, and at the detention facility, deputies located two syringes inside of his backpack; one had a small amount of blood in it, and the other contained an orange-tinted liquid. Both syringes tested positive for methamphetamine and fantanyl.

Santiago Ruiz, 53, of Chiefland, FL, was arrested by the Chiefland Police Department, Nov. 3, charged with criminal mischief with damages to public phone cables, fixtures or equipment, etc.; unarmed burglary of an occupied dwelling, and grand theft of $300 or more but less than $5,000 ($85,000 bond).

Kimberly Michelle Ruvio, 31, of Williston, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, Nov. 2, charged with failure to appear in court ($2,500 bond).

Alyssa Lillian Sinclair, 26, of Inglis, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, Nov. 2, charged with probation violation (no bond).

Dianna Lowe Taylor, 51, of Orlando, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, Nov. 3, charged with battery of a person 65 years of age or older (no bond).

Willy Tello Cano, 23, of Williston, FL, was arrested by the Williston Police Department, Nov. 1, charged with refusing to submit to testing for driving under the influence of alcohol after a driver's license suspension (nolle prosequi - no bond) and operating a motor vehicle without a valid driver's license ($1,000 bond).

Robert Toth, 37, of Williston, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, Oct. 31, charged with fleeing from or eluding a law enforcement officer after being ordered to stop, felony battery, domestic battery by strangulation, false imprisonment of an adult, carrying a concealed weapon or firearm, child neglect without great bodily harm, possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, possession of drug equipment, and violation of a condition of pretrial release ($511,000 bond).

Robert Wade Underwood, 47, of Bronson, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, Nov. 2, on an out-of-county warrant (no bond).

Richard Allen Warren, 38, of Morriston, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, Nov. 4, charged with battery of an officer, firefighter or emergency medical services provider, etc. ($5,000 bond).

William Dale Wheeler, 57, of Cedar Key, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, Oct. 31, charged with resisting or obstructing an officer without violence ($25,000 bond) and probation violation (no bond).

Melvin Wiley, 71, of Gainesville, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, Nov. 2, charged with failure to appear in court ($20,000 bond).
