Nichole Starr Hatley, 37, of Beverly Hills, FL, was arrested on an out of county warrant for criminal use of personal identification information, theft of a credit card that was lost, mislaid, or delivered by mistake; fraud by illegal use of a credit card, and grand theft of $750 or more but less than $5,000 ($12,000 bond).
Brodrick Larnell Houston, 33, of Inverness, FL, was charged with murder perpetrated without intent to cause death, and aggravated battery by a detainee upon another detainee ($30,000 bond). The arrest was the result of an investigation into the death of an inmate at the Citrus County Detention Facility on Sept. 9, 2022. Houston and Gerald Raymond Dietrich, Jr., 40, who were both inmates at the jail, allegedly got into a physical altercation. Mr. Dietrich, who was transported to a hospital, died that night.

John Dylan Gromling, 30, of Beverly Hills, FL, was charged with murder as the result of unlawful distribution of a controlled substance (no bond). Gromling is accused of supplying a drug (fentanyl) that in combination with alcohol, resulted in the overdose death of 53 year-old Bruce William Payne of Inverness, Florida on August 15, 2022 at an Inverness residence.
