Lauen Ashley Bagwell, 35, of Spring Hill, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, Sept. 13, charged with resisting an officer without violence (release on her own recognizance bond).
UPDATED: Steven Allen Brown, 28, of Inglis, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, Sept. 13, charged with contempt of court by violating a no-contact injunction ($25,000 bond). The arrest report stated that a witness had a video of Brown leaving the property of the person who filed the injunction, and also that Brown had violated the same injunction in April 2022..
James Hunter Champion, 55, of Chiefland, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, Sept. 13, charged with battery (release on his own recognizance bond).
Jessica Lynn Clarke, 38, of Inglis, FL. was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, Sept. 13, on an out of county warrant ($1,204 cash only bond).

UPDATED: David Allen Emanuel, 61, of Cedar Key, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office (LCSO), Sept. 12, on a Levy County, FL warrant for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill ($50,000 bond). According to the LCSO, on Sept. 6, a property owner and several other people were assembled at the edge of the right of way on SW 96 Court in Rosewood, FL to discuss a land clearing project, when Mr. Emanuel, who was driving a pick-up truck, confronted the group and made racial slurs. He then retreated to a nearby property, but returned a short time later and accelerated his truck rapidly in the direction of one of the men who was standing near the road, causing him to jump out of the road to avoid being struck by the truck. According to LCSO Lt. Scott Tummond, Emanuel using racial slurs as he recklessly drove his vehicle toward the victim enhances the penalties of the crime.

A deputy located 13.8 grams of methamphetamine inside the vehicle's center console, and at the Levy County Detention Bureau, he was found to be in possession of an additional 55 grams of cocaine, concealed on his person..
