UPDATED: William Frederick Isaacs, 65, of Williston, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office (LCSO), June 24, charged with failing to register as a sexual predator ($50,000 bond) and probation violation (no bond). He was also arrested on an out of county warrant for non-payment of child support ($7,260 cash only bond). According to a press release, the LCSO was alerted by the Florida Department of Probation and Parole that Mr. Isaacs, a sexual predator, had been released from the Florida Department of Corrections on June 21, and he had failed to register his address with the Levy County Sheriff’s Office and obtain a Florida Identification card within 48 hours of his release, as required by law. Detectives located Isaacs in a makeshift shanty, camped behind the Department of Corrections and Probation Office, located at 224 N. Main St, in Chiefland, Florida.
