UPDATE - EMERGENCY ALERT - 6:50 pm
(Citrus County) The issue with our main emergency system has been corrected. Our call center is no longer experiencing delays with incoming calls. Thank you to everyone for your patience. As always, dial 9-1-1 for emergencies and 352-249-2790 for non-emergencies.

EMERGENCY ALERT - 4:07 pm

Citrus County, Florida - On Saturday afternoon, June 25, 2022, the Citrus County Sheriff's Office sent an emergency alert:

"Due to a current issue with our emergency system, we are experiencing a longer delay in the connection of incoming emergency calls. Communication officials are currently working to set up a back up system to avoid these delays while fixing this issue. Calls will still go through for both our 9-1-1 emergency line and non-emergency line at 352-249-2790. We will provide an update once this issue has been resolved."
