Chiefland, Florida - Early Friday afternoon, June 10, 2022, deputies with the Levy County Sheriff's Office were dispatched to a Chiefland residence due to a complaint received by a 911 operator. The 911 call was made by 21 year-old Sararae Marie Webb, who told the operator that she had been attacked by a person who lives at her home on a part time basis, and she'd used a knife to defend herself.
Deputies arrived at the Chiefland residence to find Ms. Webb and the man who resides at the residence part time.
During an investigation into the incident, deputies determined that Ms. Webb was the primary aggressor during this incident. According to LCSO Lt. Scott Tummond, Ms. Webb used a knife to cut the victim, multiple times across his chest and hands, and she also slashed a tire on his truck when he attempted to leave. The victim was treated at the scene by emergency medical services and released.
Webb was placed under arrest and transported to the Levy County Detention Bureau in Bronson, Florida, charged with aggravated battery using a deadly weapon, and criminal mischief ($32,500 bond).
