Antonio Ramirez Ramos, 30, a Mexican national, was arrested, June 2, as the result of an alleged incident that occurred in Levy County, Florida on May 6, 2022

According to the Levy County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO), the LCSO Criminal Investigations Division conducted an investigation into an incident that was initially reported by two teenage girls to the University of Florida Child Protection Team. The LCSO described the incident as, "A two day drug and alcohol fueled, sexually abusive situation at a motel in Fanning Springs," a town located in Levy County, Florida.

Detectives learned through the accounts of the victims that the two juvenile girls met Mr. Ramirez in Newberry, Florida on May 6, 2022.
