Jeremy Martin Phillips, 33, of Inverness, FL, was charged with resisting a law enforcement officer or merchant during or after a theft, and two counts of felony petit theft due to two or more theft convictions ($11,000 bond).
Tyler Michael Rosencrans, 27, of New Port Richey, FL, was arrested on an out of county warrant for petit theft of $100 or more but less than $750, and uttering forged bills, checks, drafts, or notes ($2,500 bond).

UPDATED: Chasity Cheyann Pressley, 27, of Crystal River, FL, was charged with numerous crimes as a result of an area resident reporting the theft of a 2021 Honda CR-V compact recreational vehicle from his home. The victim told deputies that he and his wife were watching TV. He said that the home's rear sliding glass door was unlocked, his vehicle keys were on the kitchen counter, next to his LG smart phone, and his vehicle was parked on the east side of his home. The victim said that his wife noticed that their vehicle was being being driven down their driveway, and the vehicle then turned west onto another street. The victim told deputies that the person who stole his vehicle must have entered and left the home by way of the unlocked rear sliding glass door, but no one inside the home had seen them. The victim told deputies, that the person who took his vehicle keys and vehicle had also taken his smart phone, and left a light blue ten-speed bicycle in his back yard. Later during the same day, the victim reported to deputies that his vehicle had briefly returned to his residence, then immediately left again. Deputies located the stolen vehicle and attempted to conduct a traffic stop, but the driver, later identified as Ms. Pressley, refused to stop and attempted to evade deputies. During the pursuit, the stolen vehicle collided with a metal farm gate, which caused sgnificant damage to both the gate and the stolen vehicle. Numerous patrol vehicles surrounded the stolen vehicle, and Ms. Pressley was taken into custody, charged with driving while license knowingly suspended or revoked with a previous conviction, criminal mischief of $1,000 or more, petit theft of less than $100, theft of a motor vehicle, fleeing from a law enforcement officer, and burglary of an occupied residence ($23,000 bond).

UPDATED: Jesse Maounis Benning, 38, of Clearwater, FL, was charged with criminal mischief of $1,000 or more, battery of a law enforcement officer, and burglary with damages over $1,000 ($12,000 bond). At 1:37 am, Cittrus County deputies were dispatched to an unspecified business, due to a commercial burglary alarm. Deputies arrived on scene to find a broken antique window (valued at more than $1,000) on the exterior of the building and Mr. Benning inside the business. The report stated that Mr Benning had sustained a laceration to his right shin area when making entry to the building by way of the broken window, and he was transported to HCA Florida Citrus Hospital in Inverness, Florida. While at the hospital, the report stated, Benning was aggressive and required numerous deputies to restrain him. During the altercation, the report stated, Benning head-butted one of the deputies, which caused a laceration above one of the deputy's eyebrows. Benning was taken into custody after being discharged from the hospital.
