Four arrested during Bronson drug house raid

Bronson, Florida - Four people were arrested on the afternoon of October 21, when the Levy County Sheriff’s Office Drug Task Force executed a drug search warrant at a home located at 11291 NE 86 Lane, in east Bronson. 

Homeowner Kimberly M. Ausburn, 49, was charged with possession of methamphetamine with the intent to sell, possession of a stolen firearm, possession of drug paraphernalia and maintaining a drug dwelling ($151,000 bond).

The other three arrests include Amber Dawn Russell, 35, Jennifer Louise Jacobs, 44, and  Travis Tyler Egyed, 28, all of Bronson.

Ms. Russell was charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia ($76,000 bond). Ms. Jacobs was charged with possession of fentanyl and possession of a Schedule III drug without a prescription ($90,000 bond). Mr. Egyed was charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia ($76,000 bond)..  

“This operation concludes a long investigation where documenting the illegal drug activity at this home allowed a warrant to be obtained," said Levy County Sheriff Bobby McCallum. "These arrests will hopefully give some peace to this neighborhood, but the war on these deadly drugs will continue. We are thankful for the cooperation of the good citizens of this community who offered a helping hand while we worked this case. We use this case as an example of how community involvement, by reporting illegal drug activity, can and will lead to arrests.”
