Hernando (Citrus County), Florida - At 2:55 p.m. on May 30, 2025, a 69 year-old man from Beverly Hills, Florida, suffered non-life threatening injuries as the result of a single-vehicle crash that occurred on N. Forest Ridge Blvd. in Hernando, Florida.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the man was driving a Chevy Camaro, traveling south on N. Forest Ridge Blvd., when north of W. Casurina Place, he failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway, entered the grass median, and struck a tree. The vehicle continued, rotating onto a sidewalk then colliding into a pedestrian handrail.
"The impaired driver suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to an area hospital," said FHP Public Affairs Officer Sergeant Steve Gaskins.
