Two people were arrested and a third suspect is still at large as the result of what Levy County Sheriff's Office detectives believe is an attempted robbery that occurred during a drug deal, Aug. 10, at a vacant lot in the Lincoln Heights subdivision of E. Williston, FL, during which gunfire was exchanged. After a gun was fired, during a struggle for possession of a firearm inside the vehicle of John Colton Barley, 23, of Williston, FL, Kadaryl Leon Cannady, 22, and Gerald Renard Coleman, 22, both of Williston, FL, ran from the vehicle, exchanging gunfire with Mr. Barley, during which Mr. Cannady was shot in his arm. Mr. Barley was found at the scene of the incident, still armed, and Mr. Coleman was located about a quarter-mile from the incident, hiding in an outbuilding. After being treated and released from a hospital, Mr. Cannady (gunshot victim) was arrested, about 8:30 pm, Aug. 10, charged with armed robbery and failure to appear in court on a misdemeanor charge ($252,000 bond). On Aug. 13, Mr. Barley, 23 (attempted robbery victim) was charged with aggravated battery using a deadly weapon, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill, and firing a weapon in a public place or residential property ($1,250,000 bond). Mr. Coleman is still at large, wanted by detectives for questioning.

Billy Joe Bowers, 45, of Chiefland, FL, was arrested by the Chiefland Police Department, Aug. 13, charged with disorderly conduct by brawling or fighting in a public place ($10,000 bond).

Douglas Charles Brantley, 63, of Trenton, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, Aug. 10, on an out of county warrant (no bond).

Ronald Maynard Byrd, 37, of Williston, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, Aug. 10, charged with sexual battery of a victim under the age of 12 ($1,000,000 bond).

Mark Allen Cole, 41, of Chiefland, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, Aug. 10, charged with driving while license suspended as an habitual offender ($1,000 bond).

Shawn Michael Curry, 40, of Hornell, NY, was arrested by the Cedar Key Police Department, Aug. 12, charged with resisting an officer with violence ($50,000 bond).

Todd Dusseau, 50, of Williston, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, Aug. 12, on an out of county warrant (no bond).

Joshua Feaster, 40, of Riverview, FL, was arrested by the Gilchrist County Sheriff's Office, Aug. 12, and held at the Levy County Detention Bureau for another agency (no bond).

Dawn Rose Grout, 56, of Inglis, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, Aug. 12, on an out of county warrant (no bond).

Mitchell Alan Hammond, 57, of Melrose, FL, was arrested by Officer C. Ashley with an unspecified agency, Aug. 4, and booked into the Levy County Detention Bureay, Aug. 9, on two counts of sexual battery of a victim under the age of 12 and lewd and lascivious battery of a victim between the ages of 12 and 16 ($2,500,000 bond).

Johnny Steven Hemby, 28, of Williston, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, Aug. 8, charged with petit theft from a merchant (second offense), possession of methamphetamine with intent to sell, manufacture or deliver; possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, and two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia ($63,000 bond).

Shalyon Jackson, 30, of Bronson, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, Aug. 9, charged with driving under the influence, with a blood alcohol level higher than 0.15 or while in the company of a person under the age of 18, first offense ($20,000 bond).

Hunter Lee Laroche, Sr., 21, of Bronson, FL, was arrested by Officer C. Bell with the GFWF, Aug. 15, on an out of county warrant ($200 bond).

Tyson Lee Loveday, 33, of Bell, FL, was arrested, Aug. 12, and held at the Levy County Detention Bureau for another agency (no bond).

Precious T. Marshall, 42, of Delray Beach, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, Aug. 15, charged with failure to appear in court ($2,000 bond).

Kayla Marie Martinez, 29, of Williston, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, Aug. 10, charged with failure to appear in court ($1,000 bond).

Talea Norris, 31, of Williston, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, Aug. 12, charged with aggravated battery causing bodily harm, and false imprisonment of an adult ($200,000 bond). The victim told deputies that Ms. Norris had attacked her with a small knife while she was inside Norris' vehicle. Deputies noted that the victim's outer palm had a cut that was about one inch long, and it was not a superficial wound, according to the report. The report stated that Ms. Norris' vehicle contained dried blood on the passenger side, and Ms. Norris was uncooperative with deputies when they first questioned her, but she contacted them later, asking them to return to her residence so she could give deputies her statement. According to the report, Ms. Norris claimed that the incident occurred outside of the vehicle, that the victim had attached her first, but the report stated there was no evidence on scene to substantiate her account of the incident.

Kelly Quigley, 29, of Dade City, FL, was arrested by an unspeccified agency, Aug. 12, on an out of county warrant ($5,000 bond).

Tiara Cherrelle Richardson, 33, of Ocala, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, Aug. 10, on an out of county warrant ($20,000 bond).

Deborah Simons, 31, of Old Town, FL, was arrested by the Chiefland (Florida) Police Department, Aug. 15, charged with child abuse wihout causing great bodily harm (no bond).

Ashley Brooke Sinclair, 31, of Trenton, FL, was arrested by the Alachua County (Florida) Sheriff's Office, Aug. 4, and booked into the Levy County Detention Bureau, Aug. 10, charged with failure to appear in court ($1,000 bond).

Joshu Riley Sloan, 23, of Williston, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, Aug. 15, charged with battery of an officer, firefighter, emergency medical technician, etc. and resisting or obstructing an officer without violence (no bond).

Robert William Sullivan, 41, of Trenton, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, Aug. 9, charged with fleeing from a law enforcement officer in pursuit with lights and sirens activated, driving while license suspended, a subsequent offense; possession of a weapon or ammunition by a convicted felon, possession of marijuana with intent to sell, two counts of possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, and possession of drug equipment ($257,000 bond).

Victor Vanderlinde, 48, of Trenton, FL, was arrested by an unspecified agency, Aug. 12, charged with criminal mischief with property danage of $1,000 or more and possession of a controlled substance without a prescription ($35,000 bond).

Christopher Combrah White, 39, of Archer, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, Aug. 15, charged with battery ($10,000 bond).

Nicholas Wray, 38, of Chiefland, FL, was arrested by the Chiefland Police Department, Aug. 13, charged with disturbing the peace ($5,000 bond).

Vincent Salvatore Zottola, 60, of Archer, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, Aug. 13, charged with battery ($25,000 bond).
