Flounder recreational harvest season closes October 15


The recreational harvest of flounder in all Florida state and federal waters will close October15, 2025 and remain closed through November 30, 2025, reopening December 1, 2025. This closed season provides protection to flounder during the time when pre-spawning aggregations form, which ensures more fish can reproduce each year.
