    Catherine Elizabeth Register, 78 of Inglis, Florida passed away on July 31, 2020 under the care of Absolute Eldercare, Vitas, and her family. She was born on December 9, 1941 to James and Elizabeth Kinney in Brooklyn, New York. During her lifetime Catherine was a waitress, teletype operator, custodian, babysitter, seamstress, and was Cathy the cook for over 20 yrs. 

    She was loved by many,and will be remembered for fishing trips, bowling trips, and late night video games (Space Invaders). Catherine insisted that you do it right, and never settle for less than you deserve. Plus we will remember all the good food: her waffles and ice cream, pineapple upside down cakes, lemon meringues pies, her cheesecakes, and all the wonderful meals she cooked. We will also remember all the fun we had playing Mexican train. 

    Catherine was preceded in death by her husband of 25 years, Robert. She is survived by her daughters: Kathleen Baxter (Ken), Patricia Tully, and Rachel Wildey; her brothers Jerry Kinney (Sis) and Steve Kinney (Julie); and her sisters Mary Patrick (Bob) and Jean Wyble. Catherine had 7 grandchildren: April, Danielle (Allan), Kimberly, John (Veronica), Cindi, Alexander and Ryan. She also had 7 great grandchildren, and one on the way. Catherine was preceded in death by her brothers Thomas Kinney and Jack Kinney, as well as two husbands: Patrick and Bill. A private memorial service will be held on August 15, 2020 with her family.


    Robert Joseph Register, 88, of Inglis, Florida passed away on June 19, 2015. He was born on February 13, 1927 to Joseph and Louise Register in Micco, Florida. Robert was a World War II Veteran, as well as a retired heavy equipment operator. His last job was for the 

Town of Inglis, taking care of our roads. Robert was a well-respected man who was loved by all that knew him. He will be deeply missed. 

   Robert was married for twenty-five years to his wife, Catherine. Robert is also survived by a son, Robert Register; daughter Linda Lincoln; his bonus daughters Kathy Baxter (Ken), Pat 

Tully and Rachel Wildey; his sisters, Verna Register and Ruth Kay; nieces Laverne Todd and Sharon Cruce; and nephew, Kenneth Cruce. He had nine grandchildren: Melissa, Sean 

(Yusi), April, Danielle (Allan), Kimberly, John (Samantha), Cindi, Alexander and Ryan, and six great grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his brother, Earnest Register; a 

nephew, John Phelps; and two wives, Charlotte and Iris. 

    A Memorial Service will be held to honor his life on Sunday, July 19 2015 at 1:00 p.m., at the V.F.W. Post 8698 located at 520 Highway 40 East in Inglis (1 mile east of the Hwy.19 and C.R.40 traffic light)
